'Elivs' is my personal riding horse, and definatly my best friend ever. I've had him since March 1998. With a rock-star personality and dashing good looks, he always surprises you in tight spots and usually annoys the crud out of you on casual rides. Elvis has done everything from 4-H to Endurance, though his favorite is Team Penning, and he enjoys working with young horses, a job that he does admirably, since I don't have the physical strength to wrestle with a stubborn colt.
For 2008 Elvis and I are competing in Playdays with the Lubbock Saddle Club, and in District 2 - Finals are June 18th - 21st in Bowie, Tx. Wish us luck!

'Scooter' was purchased at the same time as Elvis, for my father, who passed away a few years ago. Scooter has done as much as Elvis over the years, and is now on perminent retirement due to injuries he aquired while leased out as a pony horse on the track. He is quite happy to baby-sit colts and boss the mares while Elvis isn't looking, and on occasion he is inclined to come up for a cookie and a hug. For the most part though, Scooter is less out-going than his brother and since my father's death, he is not particuarly crazy about being around people for any extended amounts of time.

Ici has been with us since April 2006, and constantly proves to be an amazing little mare. At 15 hands she doesnt look like she can do a whole lot more than be amazingly beautiful, but this girl can run. In thirteen months she faced a lot of fears and trust issues and the third time to be ridden, I took her out in our 15 acre pasture with nothing more than a cotton rope hackamore, bareback. She is extreemly smart and has bloodlines to back it. She is the dam of our 2007 colt, 'Leonidas', by Freedom.

Reyna is a beautiful young mare with a quiet personality, but no end of curiosity. She has some track expieriance, but was not raced. She has some rather ugly scars from a fence accident, but it does not effect her soundness, physically or mentally. I am looking forward to the babies she will throw in the future.

Sarah came to live with us in June 2007, from just a few houses down. She has been a brood mare and casual riding horse for most of her life. She has a fiery, but kind disposition and acts half her age. We are looking forward to foals out of her in the future.

Aurther has been living with Sarah for about ten years, and when Sarah came to live with us, so did Aurthur. He is around 25 years old, and has one blind eye, but he gets around and spends his afternoons napping in the sun.

Nahid is a wonderful mare, and she has blessed out 'family' with her great personality and beauty. She was a gift from my new friend, Lucile Singer, and I don't think I have ever recived such a wonderful gift and blessing in one! Every day Nahid's calm and curious personality amazes me as she takes every thing new like she has done it a thousand times.
Thank you, Lucile, for this wonderful mare. She truly is a 'blessed, most brightest and beautiful star in the universe'.
